Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor
Greetings, I'm Michelle. I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor at Meadowspring Counseling, Ltd.
I believe that healing begins when individuals feel genuinely seen, understood, and accepted. My passion as a therapist is helping people navigate life’s most difficult experiences, rediscover their strengths, and develop a deeper understanding of themselves. I strive to create a compassionate, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel empowered to explore their experiences, challenge limiting beliefs, and create meaningful, lasting change.
My clinical specialties include trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, and severe and persistent mental illness. I have a particular passion for working with individuals who have experienced complex trauma, emotional dysregulation, difficulties with self-worth, and challenging interpersonal relationships. I recognize that emotional suffering often extends beyond symptoms, affecting one’s identity, relationships, career, and overall quality of life.
My therapeutic approach is integrative, individualized, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I incorporate Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients process difficult experiences, recognize unhelpful patterns of thinking, strengthen emotional regulation, and develop healthier ways of responding to life’s challenges.
In addition to trauma-focused treatment, I enjoy helping individuals navigate relationship and communication difficulties, emotional regulation, self-esteem concerns, career transitions, vocational challenges, and periods of emotional crisis. I place a strong emphasis on psychoeducation, self-awareness, emotional resilience, and the connection between thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and personal values.
At the heart of my work is the belief that people are not defined by their diagnoses, their past experiences, or the challenges they have endured. I approach therapy as a collaborative process that honors each person’s unique experiences, strengths, and capacity for growth. My goal is not simply to help clients manage symptoms, but to support them in building a more fulfilling life, developing greater self-compassion, and reconnecting with their sense of identity, purpose, and possibility.
I am bilingual and provide therapy in both English and Spanish.
