Christian Counseling
With Christ you are never alone. Receive support from both your counselor and your beliefs as we walk alongside you on your journey.
Whether you are a Christian looking for someone who shares your faith to walk alongside you, or someone just exploring the faith, we would love to help you.
What is Christian counseling? We are Christians who provide professional mental health counseling. What that means is that we are compassionate, followers of Jesus Christ who feel called to walk alongside others who are struggling or hurting. We believe that God is the author of all healing, and we hope to be a light and a teacher to our clients. We never push our beliefs on our clients, and we want to help all people. We approach counseling from a nonjudgmental, caring mindset. We hope to help you on your path to healing, and we offer tools and techniques to help you navigate what you are dealing with.
Christian counseling can offer deeper meaning and help in your counseling journey. You can trust that God is with you in the midst of whatever trials you are facing.
Why Christian Counseling?
Our Belief of God's Role in Your Healing
For Christians, finding a counselor who shares their beliefs can be important both for feeling like someone understands their values and for supporting how their beliefs relate to their healing. At Meadowspring Counseling, we believe in helping people find hope and joy amidst trials in life. We believe that God is the author of all healing, and including your faith in the counseling process can be a source of that hope, joy, and strength. For Christians, their hope and joy is often deeply rooted in God and Christ. Hope is rooted in God's promises and joy in hope realized through Christ and the Holy Spirit. Trusting God, knowing He is with us, and loving Him and loving others in the midst of trials in life are central themes that helped people throughout the Bible and continue to help countless people today.
Wherever you find yourself on your journey right now, you do not need to go through anything alone. There is hope for more — a hope for a much greater joy and a deeper purpose in life.
"Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." - Romans 15:13
